Beyond Frustrated

I am so unsure of what to do. I am not losing any weight at all. No matter how hard I exercise or no matter what I eat. It is getting harder for me to get up every morning and exercise. I am not seeing any results and I want to just quit. It really seems pointless. The only thing that motivates me is to see results. I change up my exercise avery day and every week. I cut back on sweets and my eating. I am really finding it hard to motivate myself. It all seems like such a waste. I am open for suggestions. No, I will not use a tapeworm! I just don't know what to do anymore.

  1. Lisa, maybe you should get a physical and have your thyroid checked. That may be part of the problem to your weight loss. Exercise and eating right are always good for you and you don't want to gain your weight back if you stop. Maybe that could be your motivation for now until you figure out the problem. I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time. Don't give up!

  2. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. I was having a bad day. Thanks, Shelly. I won't give up. I think I had my thyroid checked about a year ago and it was fine. I was wondering if I could train with you to run a 5K. I need to get back into running but it is hard to do it on my own. Let me know what you are doing and where you are training. I think SLC would be so much fun!

  3. I understand bad days. Sometimes we need to shock our body. Maybe you should try Mom's cleansing or starting diet for two days and see if that will shock your body. I was talking with Ashley and she said that it would be fun to get together in SLC before she has the baby. Maybe march or april sometime. I finally went and excersised today it felt so good. Keep up the good work. I love you all!!

  4. Thanks guys! I have exercised the past 2 days and I feel great! My energy level is up and I'm sleeping better. I have been working out at ISU and I really like their gym. Lisa, that would be great if you want to train with me. I have yet to find a race but I am using coolrunning.com's plan of Couch Potato to 5K in 9 weeks plan. It breaks each week down to what you should do to get into shape. It is online and easy to search for. Wouldn't SLC be fun! We would have a blast!
